Abdel-Wahab Khalifa is Senior Lecturer in Translation and Interpreting at Queen's University Belfast, with a PhD in Translation Studies and Arabic from the University of Leeds. His research examines translation as an instrument of soft power and cultural diplomacy, including a 2025 study of the Franklin Book Programs.

Alessi Schreiber is a literary translator, publisher, and Director of the Mediterranea Publishing Fellowship, which he founded to bring international publishers to Cagliari for sustained, non-transactional work on specific Mediterranean contexts. He has translated over twenty titles from seven languages into Italian and co-founded Ischìre, the editorial cooperative that promotes the Fellowship.

Alexandra Zambà is the president of NIMA, the Association of Cypriots in Italy. She is an author, translator, and curator of the Nuvole series.

Ciro Auriemma is a writer, editor, and teacher at Scuola Baskerville, and directs Ischìre, the Cagliari-based publishing cooperative that founded MPF. He writes the cultural pages of L'Unione Sarda.

Elias Epiphaniou directs Elias Epiphaniou Publications in Nicosia, a founding member of the Cyprus Publishers Association. His catalogue focuses on Cypriot history and culture, including major reference works on the island's past.

Gaia Zaccagni teaches Modern Greek Language and Literature at the University of Cyprus. She curates two Italian editorial series dedicated to Greek and Cypriot authors in translation, "Isalo" and "I Gelsomini di Cipro," and has translated several Cypriot poets.

Giuditta Sireus is a cultural manager and project designer based in Villacidro, Sardinia. She is artistic director of the literary circle "Il Club di Jane Austen" and founded one of Sardinia's first reading clubs for children, working across cultural heritage and community reading initiatives.

Haris Ioannidis founded Armida Publications in Nicosia in 1995, an independent press specialising in literature from the Eastern Mediterranean. Armida is among Cyprus's leading exporters of literary rights. Ioannidis is also a co-founder of the Limassol International Book Fair and a board member of the Cyprus Publishers Association.

Katia Fundarò is a Cagliari-based author, teacher, and pedagogist. Her debut novel, "Familienalbum," published by Ischìre, was among the 81 candidates for the 2025 Strega Prize.

Manuela Fiori founded and directs Festival Tuttestorie, a literature festival for young readers based at Cagliari's Libreria Tuttestorie. Each year the festival travels from EXMA to dozens of towns across Sardinia, bringing books to schools and libraries beyond the capital.

Maria A. Ioannou is a Cypriot author, writer-performer, and founding artistic director of SARDAM, an interdisciplinary literature festival she launched in 2013. She writes across Greek, English and Cypriot Greek, and her work moves between the page and performance, sound and video.

Myriam Mereu researches intersemiotic translation and the adaptation of literary texts into cinema, with particular attention to Sardinian film culture and the tension between external representation and self-representation on screen.
